HOBBY

What is a hobby? A hobby is a regular activity that is done for enjoyment or relaxation and not as a main occupation. A hobby is generally an art in which a person is most interested. It always serves as a source of recreation.

There are numerous hobbies. Some are fond of singing. Others like to draw pictures. Some collect stamps and old coins while other take interest in collecting poetry pieces or purchasing old books. In short, there are many hobbies as there are persons.

Now, let us bring you to the Blogger Maniacs hobbies. Our first member is Zarif. Playing musical instrument such as piano and guitar are his hobby. When he was studying or has a free time, Zarif used to take a break to play something energetically. However, when Zarif went to university, he had to leave his piano behind but he bring his guitar. Sometimes he plays guitar for his housemates and singing together with them.

Next is Marul. Marul likes to play futsal when his has free time. Playing futsal helps him to relax and be confident after studying all day long. Besides that, futsal taught him the spirit of teamwork and created a strong sportsmanship in his attitude. To Marul, this futsal is interesting and amazing, especially the feeling when he score a goal. That feeling gives him that he just achieves something important.  

Our third member is Ilham. His favourite hobby is playing Dota. Ever since he was in high school, he loves this game. As many people know, this is a MOBA game that has been rising to the big leagues of games ever since it was created. Dota is known for its capability to get its players highly addicted to it and Ilham is addicted to it. He can play this games for many hours without eat and get bath. 

Then, our fourth member is Aisyah. Aisyah loves drawing because drawing do not cost much and is always fun. Aisyah likes drawing since she was 5 years old. The weirdest thing about her hobby is that nobody taught her how to draw. She learnt it by herself and later got inspiration by her parents. She always intimated everything from books such as cartoons and animes. She improving her skills until now and still making improvements.

The last member is Aqilah. Aqilah's hobby is travelling. She loves to travel. Travelling has been a core component of her life since she was a very young. Her family had the mentality of going to countless places rather than the same place year after year. These trips has taken Aqilah all over Malaysia giving her many opportunities that many have been able to experience. 

iOS v Android

iOS and android been competing almost 6 years form now. The first iOS was unveiled in 2007 and the first android was unveiled in 2008. So a lot of change since then obviously over 6 year. But the question still remain which is better? What i read today is my opinion and my experiences most of this coming up to my head so i'm gonna miss some topic and support the topics but let us leave discussion for the comment. So lets get started.

FLUIDITY

Fluidity isn't a speed, fluidity is what the phone make of that speed what operating system does with that speed. For iOS its lacking hardware but really well optimized all the animation and stuff are extremely smooth. On the android side, you can reach that level of fluidity but its not always right out of the box. But if modified maybe install custom ROM or something you can reach that fluidity.

SIMPLICITY & CUSTOMIZABILITY

When we looking at iOS a lot of simplicity and it easy to use and self-explanatory but its not very customizable. So eventhough i appreciate customizability of iOS is definitely something to desire. But on the android side of thing you have a lot of customizability you can tell your phone to your needs but its not simple because you need to know what you doing.

HARDWARE

Speaking of iOS hardware its awful the specs are low end their subpar kinda disgusting actually on the batteries are low-powered everything in the iOS is subpar you're not getting a high-end device but its pretty well optimized for the iPhone. On the android side of thing you extremely powerful devices such as qHD display switches and you have 3gigabytesof RAM huge batteries with huge battery life huge screen its over all the hardware.

APP'S

This is the last thing i want to talk about and app now is an interesting subject because on iOS side of thing to get a lot of pre installed app but you cant delete unless you jailbreak to do something like that but then you you also have the App store which is expansive it's much bigger than the Google Play store. But on android you can make it so you dont have any app's on your home screen you'll have to have any out on your own tune is totally customizable but the Google Play Store is a little bit smaller .

Pangkor Island - Here we come ...

Hye guys, in this week post we are going to share to all of your about our experience camping in Pangkor Island. It is conducted for KUPTM hostel committee. Here is our story:

We depart from college around 10 a.m. by bus and arrived at jetty at 4 p.m. It is 3 days 2 nights camp at Segadas camp.

As usual, when we reached at camp site, we straightly set up the tent for our shelter and after that we cleaned up our self and take dinner. At night, we do ice-breaking where we can know the others.

The next day, we we woke up early in the morning and take a breakfast at 7 in the morning. After finish breakfast, we do some exercise while waiting for the boat to go to the hiking place. We hiking only until at first point not to the top because it will take another 3 to 4 hours to the top. After we finished hiking, we take lunch and wait for a boat to go to snorkeling place which is what we are waiting for.

After we finished all the program at 6 p.m we went back to the camp site. At night, we do activities with the counselor. Many benefits that we get from the activities such as how to control the team, what is the impact if we lose focus. The most important thing is it can built our relationship more closer.

As usual, we woke up at 7 in the morning and it is the last day our camping at Pangkor Island. At that morning, each group have to built a new country by beach sand. We have to create our own country name, its economic and the population of the country. The activity teach us how to be creative and how the way we want to present it. After finished the activity, we pack up our belongings and go to the jetty. We arrived at College around 10 p.m.

This is it. Our first experience join college activities.

BLOGGER MANIACS, WHY CHOOSE THIS NAME?


Blogger Maniacs. This name attracts people and give curiosity to them. It has its own uniqueness. "Blogger" come from blog. Meanwhile, "Maniacs" come from a cafe in Malacca. In Malacca, there is a cafe names Truly Two Cafe. They just open it last year.

We add 's' to "Maniac" because we have 5 members. Blogger Maniacs' members also have an extraordinary crazy attitudes. 

Our team leader is Zarif. He is a happy go lucky person and a dedicated leader. First impression about him is that he looks like a crazy-serious person but after we get close to him, Zarif is actually a nice person.

Next is Kamalrul a.k.a. Eby or Marul. Eby has a gangster face and people think that Eby being arrogant to them. However, that is all wrong. Eby is the last child in his siblings. He always being pampered by his family. From that, Eby always close to his friends because Eby is a crazy-lovely person.

The third member is Ilham Utama. Just with his name, we all can be curious about him. He can be smart if he determined. With the way of his study, he can be crazy-fast learner.

The fourth member is Aisyah. She is a cute girl and have a pair of big shiny eyes. First impression about her, Aisyah is a crazy-quiet and shy person. Apparently, she is a very polite girl which suits her baby-faced looks.

And the last member is Aqilah. At first, people think Aqilah is a grumpy person. Then, after they know her, Aqilah is a crazy-friendly person. She likes giving jokes to make people around her happy. Sometimes, when her friend in trouble, she willingly to help her friend until the problem solved.

The Best of Both Worlds

The best of both worlds is a situation where people can get a benefit of two different job at the same time. It is not easy for us to implant this idiom to our selves. It is not because we can't do it, but we don't know how to have it. Let us story to all of you about one of friend who is enjoying his both worlds.

His name is Edward Kucai. He is Malaysian and loves music. When he is 6 years old, his parents sent him to music class to play piano and guitar. Kucai started to love musics since then. With his nice voice and good in play piano, he won several music competition. His ambition is to be an accountant. So, he study hard at school to achieve his ambition. At the same time, he use music to release his stress while studying. Kucai got flying colors in his SPM's results and he got offer full scholarship to further his study in Yale University, United States. He accept the offer because it is his ambition to study professional course ACCA. In his university, he joins Yale's Musical Club as a guitarist and also vocalist. With his charming voice and the skills playing guitar, he got an offer from one of big jazz bar to make a performance whenever he is free. After he finished his study, he work as an accountant executive in one of the big company at United State. Finally, what he dream of come true to be an accountant. Even thou, he is busy with his work, but at the same time he will make a performance at jazz bar every time he is free. He is enjoying the best of both worlds.

Family Vacation, Greatest thing a family can do Together.

In the end of the year 2015, my family went on a 4 days 3 nights vacation to Thailand. My family and I went there by car and it was my father who drove there. We departed from our home on Saturday by 11 P.M., from Malacca. There are two Malaysia-Thailand borders in the state of Perlis, we went to Thailand by bypassing the Perlis-Thailand Border.

We arrived at Wang Kelian, Perlis at 8 A.M. for a light breakfast at a food stall. Right after breakfast, we continued our journey to The Free Land, Thailand. The village right across Wang Kelian is Wang Prachan in the Satun province, Southern Thai. We then cross the border by passing the Malaysia-Thailand immigration office.

Our first destination in Thailand is Pak Bara. Pak Bara is in the Langu District. We then spend a night at the Pak Bara Resort. We had our dinner at the Pak Bara Restaurant. Over at the restaurant, we had the most Iconic Thailand Cuisine ever. The Spotlight of Thailand. We had the most amazing Seafood Tom yam, together with Steamed Sea Bass, served with Thai Rice. After that night, we spent our time reminiscing the past together. I love to see my family having a great time together.

The next day, we had our light breakfast and then we continued our journey together to the Iconic Place in Thailand, Krabi. It took us 7 hours to reach Krabi from Pak Bara. Over there, we checked in at the Srisuksant Resort Ao Nang. Since it is a long travel from Pak Bara to Krabi, we had our rest after we checked in. After we had our dinner, we went to the Ao Nang Beach by Tuk Tuk. We stopped by to a few stalls there and bought some souvenirs. Since we went there at night, so we can't see most of the sceneries at the Ao Nang Beach. The next morning, we took a walk at the Ao Nang Beach. The view there is extraordinarily amazing. We then checked out from the Srisuksant Resort Ao Nang.

Right after Krabi, we continue on our journey to Hatyai, which is a 10 hour drive. Hatyai is our last checkpoint for this vacation trip. Before checking into the hotel, we had our dinner first. We all looked half-dead thanks to the 10 hour trip. All and all, I am very proud of my father who drove the entire trip there. Thank you, Abah. We then checked in at the Hatyai Greenview Hotel, Haytai.

Finally, the final day for our 4 days 3 nights trip to Thailand. My mother wants to stop by at the Hatyai Market to buy some groceries. She bought some Tom yam paste, rice, spices and so on. After that, we had our lunch together at one of the most famous restaurants in Hatyai, . After we had that amazing lunch, we continue on to the Sadao District, which is also known as Danor on the border of Malaysia at the Songkhla Province, Southern Thai. Again, we went through the Thailand-Malaysia immigration office to go back to Malaysia.

It was an amazing experience we shared together as a family. This travel experience is very adventurous for me and my family. Even with the long drive form one place to another, it's still an amazing experience to be spent together as a family. I hope one day, me and my family can do this activity together again.

Bully, Childhood Nightmare

Ever thought about someone being bullied on their entire childhood? Let us share the biggest slice of one of our member's childhood: being bullied. It all started when I was in standard 1. Since the first day of school, my peers love to bully me. They LOVE to bully me. As a low self-esteem kid, I will always be targeted for bullying. Easier said like this: I am a bully-material.

My peers will always ask for my pocket money. Every single day, I can never join the "cool" kids having their lunch, because the "cool" kids' lunch was sponsored by me. If i forgot to bring any food from home, I will stay in class and study alone.

I remember during art class, where we got to paint on a piece of big canvas. It turns out that my school attire is also categorized as a big canvas to paint on. My classmates will paint my clothes whenever they have the chance. They will only stop if i start to cry and call for the teacher.

During my standard school years, I am the class' homework-doer. My classmates will queue in front of me and pass their homework to me. Every day, my homework will be quadrupled because i will have to do the extra 3 copies for my classmates. This nightmare stopped when the teacher notices in the resemblance of the handwriting.

This is only a small fraction of my bully experience. I end my story here. Thank you.

Ever wonder the story from the opposite side? In every bully stories, there's always the ones who get bullied, and the bully. We will now share what it feels like bullying someone. This story is from one of our member's childhood memories.

When I was in standard 3 I always follow my classmates to bully the juniors. It feels great at that time because it can make my day happy. The most unforgotten bully that my friend and I did was ask the kid to gently blow a well lit light bulb until it turns off. I enjoyed watching him crying and blowing the light bulb for a solid 2 hours. He begged to us to make him stop when he started to pee in his pants. Oh my god that was funny.

Next, when I was in standard 5 during Morning Assembly,  I poured a bottle of Axe Brand Oil at one of my friend's back. He started to sweat because of the pain inflicted to him. Right after the Morning Assembly, he runs to the toilet to wash his back. I then sprinkled some extra Axe Brand Oil on his armpit to add the extra burn. He cried for help and went home because he can't handle the pain. This was the best memory that I have in mind.

I will end my story here because it is too harsh to tell. All and all, we all have changed to a better person. Let us together help the country by being a better person. :)
